Advanced Hygiene

Our Hygiene Department provides preventive services designed to help you keep your teeth for life. Regular cleanings, medical history reviews, oral cancer examinations, as well as cavity checks are very important parts of your overall dental preventive strategy. The frequency of preventive visits depends on your needs. You’ll find automatic toothbrushes and home care items at our practice for your convenience and savings.

For your protection, Dr. Katz and the patient staff wear masks, gloves, safety glasses, and hospital scrub uniforms. Whenever possible, disposable single use items are used to ensure your safety. All other treatment items are sterilized as recommended by the American Dental Association and Occupational Health and Safety Administration using the state of the art sterilization units. Each patient station is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each patient visit. We take your safety very seriously.
